Nokia 9 spotted on Geekbench with 6GB RAM, Android 7.1 Nougat


HMD Global, the Finnish company that owns the rights to use Nokia brand on smartphones, could launch its flagship Nokia 9 with the Snapdrgaon 835 processor.



The smartphone has been the subject of several leaks, and now the upcoming device has popped up on Geekbench.
First spotted by Nokia Power User (NPU), the alleged Nokia 9 has been listed as “Unknown Heart”. The listing shows the phone with 6GB RAM and a Snapdragon 835 under the hood. It also shows the device will run Android 7.1 Nougat out-of-the-box. This is not the first time Nokia 9 has been found on a benchmark site. Nokia 9 has been allegedly listed on AnTuTu and Geekbench, with the model number TA-1004.
Nokia 9 is said to come with a 5.27-inch WQHD display with a resolution of 1440×2560 pixels, Snapdragon 835 processor, 4GB RAM or 6GB RAM, dual 13MP rear cameras, along with 64GB storage. According to a separate report from NPU, the flagship phone might hit the markets at the end of Q3, while its price is said to be pegged at around $699 ( or approx Rs. 45,000) in the US.
HMD Global’s current offerings in the Nokia-branded portfolio include: Nokia 6, Nokia 5, Nokia 3 and Nokia 3310. The Nokia 6, Nokia 5 and Nokia 3 are expected to be launched in India on June 13. Nokia 3310, on the other hand, has been made available in the market at a price of Rs. 3310.
