iPhone8 To Have Wireless Charging Facility?

Tech giant; Apple has long been rumoured to be considering wireless charging for its iPhones, especially for the launches that would happen this year on. And if the words of esteemed KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo are to be believed then you can expect all three variants of the upcoming iPhone 8 (somewhere this year), models to feature inductive charging. More so, Kuo further notes that wireless charging can be made available even with the refreshed iPhone 7 that is slated to hit the market, sooner; rather than later!

These reports also claim that the wireless charging can increase the cost of production, thereby, making iPhones even more costly for the consumers. Now, we all know that wireless charging makes the phones soar high on temperature, so, to counter that, the new phones will likely feature an upgraded 3D Touch module with “additional graphite sheet lamination” to prevent overheating.
MacRumors has obtained a copy of Kuo’s notes:
“While we don’t expect general users to notice any difference, lamination of an additional graphite sheet is needed for better thermal control and, thus, steady operation; this is because FPCB is replaced with film, which is more sensitive to temperature change of the 3D touch sensor in OLED iPhone.”
If everything happens as they are rumoured to, then expect the prices to go as high as USD1000 for the premium model of iPhone8– take that for an expensive phone Samsung and LG.
